Fido and Felix

When putting your home on the market, be sure to make appropriate provisions for your pet.

That sweet, lovable dog that usually greets all your visitors with a tail wag may act differently when strangers are entering your home when you are not there.

Dogs that have never bitten anyone have been known to attack buyers and real estate brokers during showings.

Make plans to avoid this liability.  Perhaps Fido can take a vacation at a relative’s home.  Or maybe he should be contained in the garage with food and water.

Kitties that typically run to the basement or under the bed when visitors arrive have been known to bolt out the door when buyers and agents arrive.

The stress of folks coming into the home can change your pet’s behavior.

Be sure to consider what arrangements to make for your furry friends when you are selling your home.
