Country Club boasts grand homes (many on huge lots), mature stately trees, and an architectural mix. There are Victorian, Mediterranean, Spanish, Georgian, Tudor and other home styles in the neighborhood.
Developed in the early 20th century, 142 acres of the original 400 acres were dedicated to the development of The Denver Country Club, an exclusive private recreation club. The balance of the 400 acres was developed as a residential community.
With quick access to The Cherry Creek Shopping Center, Cheesman Park and downtown, the neighborhood attracks well-heeled folks who want to live in the city.

Construction has begun on a new, 3-story parking facility at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
The new facility will increase the parking capacity by at least 120 cars.
Construction on the new visitors center will begin soon after Thanksgiving. At that time, the current gate house will close, and a temporary gate house will open near the temporary parking lot at York and 11th.
